Here is a day-by-day itinerary of the Chardham Yatra:
About Badrinath Dham:
Start the journey from Delhi to Haridwar, one of the holiest cities in India, located at the foothills of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, check into a hotel and take a rest for the day.
Leave early in the morning from Haridwar to Barkot, a small town located at the base of Yamunotri. En route, visit Kempty Falls and other scenic spots.
Upon arrival, check into a hotel and take a rest.
After breakfast, drive to Jankichatti and trek to Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River.
Later, trek back to Jankichatti and drive back to Barkot.
Drive to Uttarkashi, a scenic town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, and then visit the Prakateshwar Cave and other attractions.
After breakfast, you will proceed to Uttarkashi via Harsil.
Upon arrival, check into a hotel and take a rest.
Drive to Gangotri, the source of the Ganga River. Perform puja at the temple and take a dip in the holy river.
Later, drive back to Uttarkashi and take a rest.
Drive to Guptkashi, a small town located at the base of Kedarnath. En route, stop at Tehri Dam and other attractions.
Upon arrival, check into a hotel and take a rest.
Early in the morning, drive to Gaurikund and trek to Kedarnath, one of the most sacred shrines in India.
Perform puja at the temple and explore the surroundings. Later, trek back to Gaurikund and drive back to Guptkashi.
Drive to Joshimath, a scenic town located at the base of Badrinath. En route, visit the Vishwanath Temple and other attractions. Upon arrival, check into a hotel and take a rest.
Drive to Badrinath, the last and most important shrine of the Chardham Yatra.
Perform puja at the temple and explore the surroundings. Later, drive back to Joshimath and take a rest.
Here you can also visit the nearby Mana village, which is the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border, and also drives to Rishikesh, a popular destination for yoga and meditation. En route, visit the Nandpraya.
On the last day, you will drive back to Haridwar/Rishikesh for departure.
